We were truly delighted last week to receive the results of the 2007 Australian Achiever Awards for Victoria's Finance and Insurance Services category.
While we are very pleased with the result we were also very touched with the comments from some of our clients as reported in the Media Release. This of course has always been a feature of the reports, and with the trend of the comments over the 4 years during which we have been participating we have begun to think that we must be doing something right somewhere.
As part of our normal practice we have arranged for our monthly Newsletter to be sent to our business clients outlining any changes that are taking place continually, particularly in the taxation field. On occasion we add personal comments to the Newsletter, and as this was due to be dispatched last week we included a copy of the Media Release for all recipients.
Our clients generally have been aware of course of our participation in Australian Achiever and I am sure that this has initiated many comments not only back to us but also among our clients generally.
It is becoming quite noticeable that many people making contact with us for the first time are doing so on the recommendation of existing clientele who have often been made aware of our contact with Australian Achiever.
This business commenced under rather unusual circumstances a little over 45 years ago, and while we are now dealing with some second and third generation clients it is quite understandable that many of the originals have dropped out though retirements, deaths etc. I see the present climate could be one of expansion, and feel sure that part of that expansion has come about as a direct result of our participation in your organization.
Naturally we shall be participants in the 2008 series.

When we are being compared to other suppliers, it definitely gives us an edge as they can see that we are a client focussed company.
