Over 4500 individual small to medium size businesses have entered the Australian Achiever Awards over the last 23 years with a great many entering again and again because of the ongoing benefits it provides.
We are independent of any affiliation with Government bodies, Business Associations or any other Corporate body. This Award is not restricted to a single industry and, as a result, imparts a far greater cumulative awareness and ‘branding’effect.
We award remarkable customer service, and we do this in a measured, objective way. However we also commit to being budget and time friendly and don’t demand a high level of investment from you or your clients:

There is a flat fee of $ 275 + GST to enter which covers our administration costs
Entry is quick and simple.
Create your business profile, and then have the ability to login, save and complete your application at any time.
There is a $275 + GST administration fee, with no additional hidden costs and no complicated criteria, such as confidential Financials or Business Plans, as we believe they are irrelevant to the way a business approaches their customer service philosophy.
The awards are conducted across different industry categories that run at different times of the year, so check the closing dates. If your business doesn’t fit into one of the categories, you are able to enter the overall Australian Services & Supplies section.
The Awards are based entirely on Customer Service ratings which are scored on feedback from your own customers. All you have to do is create your business profile, and provide:
• Referee details: names and contact numbers for four customers and a trade supplier
• Payment of the administration fee.
Our staff contact your referees via phone and take them through a five minute confidential survey.
This survey covers such areas as:
• Overall Perception
• Timeliness
• Communication
• Understanding of customer needs
• Friendliness / Politeness
• Care and Attention
• Presentation / Cleanliness
• Value
• Strengths
• Areas needing improvement
• Referral
• Ethics
Your customers determine the results. They are asked to rate their answers to each question and a percentage score is given to the total.
If your business has multiple offices or franchise outlets you are encouraged to enter each office separately. If the offices are location based with different staff at each, we must be able to assess the customer service delivery of each particular office and its staff. In this scenario we offer corporate packages, speak to us to find out more.
Following the review process, all results and feedback are collated into one comprehensive report showing how your business performed against 8 key customer service evaluation criteria; Timeliness, Client Needs, Care and Attention, Value, Attitude, Communication, Referral and Overall Perception. The written report delivers benchmark scoring against each of the criteria, breaking down scores for easy comparison. In addition, the report includes verbatims from customers so you can get a sense of their direct feedback as well as suggested areas for improvement and specific strengths.
This report not only gives you valuable management data, allowing insight into where you and your staff are performing well, it also highlights opportunities to improve performance.
As you work with Australian Achiever year on year you can use the information to set KPIs for your business and staff and to assess ongoing performance improvement, putting strategies in place to optimise you customer service delivery.
Businesses who operate multiple outlets or franchises also have the opportunity to receive our corporate package. Comparative reporting is sent to their corporate head office, and a Group Certification certificate is awarded to those groups who achieve over 80% across all outlets. Once the research has been completed and the reports collated, all businesses will be notified of their results. Any business with an overall score above 80% gains the Australian Achiever Highly Recommended accolade. Within each of our 26 categories there are also state winners and a National winner, which is a tremendous achievement for any business.

Successes are celebrated within the Australian Achiever network with winner announcements across our social platforms and email. We also encourage businesses to recognise and celebrate these important achievements with their staff, colleagues and families.
Importantly, showcasing an Australian Achiever Highly Recommended mantel or win is an unbiased and trusted recommendation. One that has been independently qualified so it’s something worth shouting about.
We give all entrants a series of materials to help them leverage this accolade and promote the well-deserved recognition through your own channels. Some of the coveted materials included a media release to share with your networks, a window decal for your premises, signage or vehicle, certificate to display in for your office as well as the logo itself to use on your website, social media and printed marketing materials. You are authorised and encouraged to use the logo across all your marketing and promotions.
All awarded logos are dated with the specific year of achievement, with the accolade providing a 1-year endorsement. This endorsement illustrates dedication to remarkable customer service and distinguishes your business from competitors.
